Romance Over 40-LIVE in Studio Broadcast from Boston
Here it is! The LIVE in studio show from Friday April 3, 2009!
During the show I introduce formally my business partner Buffy Lauer and we talk about Romance Over 40! Our guest speaker was none other than “Mr. Romance” Al Cole
The energy and interaction of doing the in studio interview was exciting and it felt so great to be in the studio, the time went fast and I didn’t want it to end.
During the show we talk about Romance Over 40 for women who are single, keeping the romance alive during a long term relationship, how a woman gets ready for a date and how doing certain things almost like a “ritual” helps her feel sexier when she goes out on a date.
I open up a little more than usual as seems always to be the case when I am with Al Cole. I did an interview all about Romance a few months back on Al’s radio show “It’s All About Romance with Al Cole” on http://www.hotmix106.com maybe one day I will post it here on HYTR *wink* what’s holding me back, shyness LOL? I REALLY opened up and showed a side of myself I haven’t shown to my listeners before…so let’s do this if you want to hear more of that interview and learn more about the flirty side of myself post a comment below
When we reach 10 “I want to hear your interview with Al Cole” I will post it on this page

Manifest the Love of Your Life with The Law of Attraction! Have you ever wondered what it takes to find the love of your life? The Soulmate Secret will show you how and today’s show Arielle Ford will be on to answer your questions about finding your soul mate!
The Soulmate Secret: Manifest the Love of Your Life with the Law of Attraction will show you how to take control of your romantic destiny. Arielle Ford knows that finding true love is possible for anyone at any age if you’re willing to prepare yourself, on all levels, to become a magnet for love. Arielle used the techniques in this book to bring her soulmate, Brian Hilliard, into her life at age forty-four. They were engaged three weeks later. Now together for more than ten years, her techniques have worked for men and women from 18 to 85 years of age.
This ancient formula reveals that our universe is set up to deliver the people and things into our lives that are consistent with our personal belief system. If you don’t believe you will ever find the One, then guess what? You probably won’t. If, however, you learn to believe that the One is not only out there but is also looking for you, then true love can be yours.

Being the Strong Man a Woman Wants
February 13, 2009 by Rebbekah
I hear it all the time from my male friends, “what do women want?” I must say as a woman I need a strong man in my life (I do my hubby is wonderful but as in all relationships there are times that are trying LOL) someone who takes a stand, makes decisions and takes part of the burden off of me! I don’t like having to make all the decisions even the small ones like “what’s for dinner, or were do you want to eat” or even the hard part having to pay the bills and be the mastermind behind which bills get paid now and which ones can wait till next payday without a late charge?
Being a mom to 3 boys, two who are autistic, and having my father in law live live with us not to mention running 3 of my own businesses and clients websites when it comes time for me to relax I don’t want to make all the decisions myself on how to run the family and our life. I want to have a man who participates, again my hubby is wonderful most of the time in that department. I hear it from my female friends both online and offline about how they are “strong woman” but don’t want to be the one who “wears the pants” in the family….I think if every woman really looked deep down in themselves they will all say the same thing, we like to feel protected, we like to feel loved and for us loving doesn’t just mean in the bedroom…love is having a man show us they love us by participating in our lives and taking control.
I know there are times I pick a fight with my husband just to get a response or to have him tell me “Hey enough, you are out of control” I need that once in awhile, now ladies if you are reading this I am only talking about myself, not generalizing every woman on earth.
Today’s interview with Elliott Katz was a very enlightening one for myself. I like when I can hear the “other side of the story” I don’t always know what my husband is thinking as I am sure he feels the same way I do about myself.
This interview is a must listen to interview if you are in any type of a relationship whether you are a male or female….below is more information about Elliott Katz’s book “Being the Strong Man A Woman Wants-Timeless wisdom on being a man”

From 2:00-2:30 Edie Weinstein-Moser will be on talking about Cuddle Party -a fun, playful and empowering workshop. From 2:30-3:00 we have Rose Van Sickle on talking about overcoming panic attacks and depression.
Edie Weinstein-Moser is a Renaissance Woman whose work and play are one and the same: free-lance journalist, speaker, workshop facilitator, interfaith minister, licensed social worker, therapist and creative guide. as well as massage/energy worker. She touches hearts and lives by enouraging people to ‘live juicy’; bringing color, creativity and passion into their days . One of her greatest joys is offering a life changing communication and boundary setting workshop, cleverly disguised as a nurturturing touch workshop, called Cuddle Party. Edie is one of (at this point) 42 people world wide, certified to teach this fun, playful and empowering workshop. In addition, she is a member of Team Goddess; who co-facilitate an annual Goddess Retreat, dedicated to helping other women see the beauty and wisdom within themselves.
What a Cuddle Party Is: A structured, safe workshop on boundaries, communication, intimacy and affection. A drug and alcohol-free way to meet fascinating people in a relaxing environment. A laboratory where you can experiment with what makes you feel safe and feel good.
Cuddle Party
This playful, fun workshop has been a place for people to rediscover non-sexual touch and affection, a space to reframe assumptions about men and women, and a great networking event to meet new friends, roommates, business partners and significant others.
Can Cuddle Party restore your faith in humanity? It just might. But at the very least, you’ll have a great time, and leave feeling relaxed and inspired.

VanSickle says: “Decreasing the impact of daily stressors is one of the most critical keys to good mental health.”

How to keep your marriage spicy-what do women want?

I had the wonderful pleasure of being a guest speaker on Words Cause Radio on Mother’s Day. If you really want to hear what I am like outside of the business arena lol this show is a must hear
It’s hard to keep a marriage alive and happy in the bedroom and outside the bedroom when you have many circumstances taking you away from it. For instance, children a Father in law, outside influences…friends stopping in unannounced…all leading to frustration in and out of the bedroom. Hear some tips I use with my husband Brent and how we have been able to weather all storms in our marriage…including some hot sex lol. Yes, this topic is out of the norm for me, but hey…who doesn’t have sex lol or problems keeping their marriage hot and fresh
-Rebbekah White
What do women want?
It’s an age old question. There are movies about it. There are songs about it. There are scores of books, magazine and newspaper articles, and blogs about it. Still, it seems as though there can never be enough information about this subject.
Often times, the ideas that are proposed in some of the books are controversial for the sake of sales. Claiming that men and women come from different planets is a great way to sell books, but still doesn’t answer the question of what women want.
Dean and I had Rebbekah White, host of Heal Yourself Talk, on our show this Mother’s Day to discuss relationships. She’s been married for 17 years and has three children but still manages to keep her relationship spicy. She had some great tips on how to keep the marriage spicy, including visiting the local bar separate from each other and pretending they didn’t know each other! I’m going out and using that one tonight with my girlfriend!
Listen to some of the great tips she also gives on how to make a marriage more enjoyable, even when a father-in-law is living with you.

Thank you again for all your love and support.Historically I have attached so much meaning to my “story” of the past and because of that I was living in the past and not truly focusing on the future and what I wanted to create. I spent over 10 years in therapy, but felt as though it kept me stuck. The turning point in my life occured when I made the choice to begin looking within…I truly took a guided tour of my inner-self. I am a full on believer in The Secret and Law of Attraction. I have seen them work in my life, without even realizing what it was until I educated myself. I am now in a place where I want to reach out to other women with similiar backgrounds and help them get to a place where they can enhance their inner greatness. Where they can truly be full of self expression, by ripping away the limiting beliefs obtained in early childhood. I am on the Board of Directors of a non for profit called The New York State Coalition Against Sexual Assault. This allows me to participate in changing the way society perceives the issue.-Jennifer Munger

By Michelle L. Casto, Ph.D.
Love rules.
Yes, I am a romantic at heart.
Fantasy:
Fantasy love is the erotic style and based on infatuation of the physical kind.
False:
False love is the pragmatic style and based on a business arrangement of the mental kind.
Romantic:
Romantic love is a blend of erotic & pragmatic with a dash of emotional and based on the human arrangement of the survival kind.
Romantic relationships are high on the priority list of modern human beings and last, again, as long as both parties are in agreement.
Divine Love is the spiritual style and based on divine order of the souls involved.
New Thoughts on True Love
Love is not about he or she is so smart and gorgeous, we love the same things, we think the same way, we have so much in common, or we like the same foods.
As Michael Brown of the Presence Process says, love is not about sleeping together, love is about waking up together.
It works like this.
Divine Love Defined
Divine Love is a catalyst for growth (that is the waking up part).
The light of Divine Love reveals all the unhealed aspects of your psyche.
As such, it is challenging to the ego, to say the least.
Because Divine Love is eternal, it is powerful.
This is the level of love I am after (and refuse to settle for less).
There is someone perfectly made for you.
Go with it. Trust it. Grow from it.

September 23, 2007 by Rebbekah
Filed under Friendship, Self Esteem, Self Help
It’s a trait we all desire, a winning personality. I’m not talking about being the extravert of all extraverts and talking to everyone you meet on the street. A winning kind of personality is developed by introverts and extraverts alike. In fact, when learning to be the kind of person people enjoy being with, the less you talk, the better!
Indeed, one of the greatest assets in life is friendship. You can have all the money you want, but unless you have real relationships, you can’t be happy. So let’s look at some tips on how to develop a real winning personality.
First off, you want to be genuinely interested in others and show that interest. You will never find a selfish man with a winning personality. When we see overt selfishness in someone, we lose respect for them and become suspicious of their motives. Ask questions about someone’s hobby or work to show your interest. Talk more about them than about yourself.
Also, develop some tact when you’re talking with people. Assume that they’re trying to do their best, and speak from that foundation. Giving folks the benefit of the doubt goes a long way in establishing relationship.
Another secret to developing a magnetic aura is to keep an open mind. Folks don’t like to be coerced and converted to another’s way of thinking and acting. So listen to others’ perspectives and learn from them, even if they’re contrary to your own beliefs.
Finally, look folks in the eye when you speak to them. This helps foster a trust and genuineness that people respect. Make it a habit to concentrate on something positive about the person to whom you’re speaking, and that will go a long way in establishing rapport.
These simple skills can be developed by anyone. Take a little time to master them, and they become second nature. You’ll soon find yourself sought after by others and enjoying friends galore.

September 23, 2007 by Rebbekah
Filed under Friendship, Self Esteem, Self Help
You’ve heard it said a dozen times. In order to have a friend, you have to be a friend. Sounds great on paper, but how does one reach that goal in real life? Some folks seem to have it much easier than others in this arena. What are their secrets? How can you actually build more genuine friendships?
One of the primary secrets of becoming naturally magnetic is to develop a thought foundation of love and generosity. When you’re thinking these kinds of thoughts, others pick up the good vibes. Then they’re automatically drawn to you.
If you have the habit of complaining, it’s unlikely that folks enjoy being around you. Even the most patient person eventually becomes frustrated when all she hears is “oh, poor me” and criticism of others. So one way of naturally gaining more friendships is to only allow positive comments to come from your mouth!
Developing this habit takes time, so be patient with yourself. The outcome will be very much worth the effort, and soon, you’ll find it second nature to be positive and optimistic.
The truth is, if you care enough to get results, you will get them. If you really want to have more friends, you will work at breaking the complaining habit and developing the art of thinking lovely thoughts toward others.
Also, here’s a little tidbit your grandma may have told you, and it bears repeating. Be careful what you “repeat”. Never take for granted that it is the truth because some one told you so. They may have added a little to the original story, or they may have been misinformed from the start. You don’t want to be put in an embarrassing position and end up losing the friends you have! Unless you are convinced that something you’ve heard is really the truth, don’t even think of repeating it. If you do say something, include the authority who said it first. And don’t repeat anything, no matter how juicy and titillating, unless you’d be willing to say it in front of the actual person.
Follow these simple tips, and you’ll find yourself being sought after in friendship. Plus, the friendships you make will be long-lasting and genuine – the best kind!

Listen in to Sharon and Roy Montero as they share various events in their lives as it relates to the healing process between a mother and daughter.
