Empowering Women & 2012 A Spiritual Awakening

Today’s show is with Linda Ballou author of Wai-nani High Chiefess of Hawaii. While this is a fiction book rather than a self help book, the book is all about empowering women and how one women did what she wanted against all odds-even the threat of death…the book is written in celebration of the Hawaiian people of old, especially Ka’ahumanu-the forerunner of the modern woman.

Wai Nani written by Linda Ballou

We open up with Linda Ballou author of Wai-nani High Chieftess of Hawaii. Linda explains how writing was not only a healing process for herself but how Wai-Nani can also be a great role model for women all over the world in the sense of knowing what feels right to her and becoming the woman she wants to be no matter what situation they are in.

To many times today we women don’t feel empowered, we let others walk all over us because we were taught not to trust our own instincts. Wai-Nani shows us that we can be and do whatever our heart says is right for us even if others do not believe it is right.  Wai-Nani shows us that we are powerful and can become one with nature and follow our own true nature if only we allow it.

We end the show today with Jay Hill author of 2012 A Guide to Spiritual Awakening.
