How to Look Good Naked…

Carson KreesleyI am so enthralled with Carson Kreesley because he is totally alignement with what I always say a woman needs to love herself for who she is and to express herself and go out into the world proud of you, no matter what.

What I want the most is to be able to meet Carson to be able to talk to someone who thinks just like me! To have him help me keep learning how to love me for me!

Women are wonderful creatures, we sacrifice daily for our loved ones…we don’t always take time for ourselves hence we tend to get sick (Raising my hand here), we tend to be the most critical of ourselves…me again…and WE TEND to not see what others see…we lack self confidence.

I know I do…self confidence can sometimes be a hard word to swallow…a hard thing to portray, a hard thing to remember.

I have done many things that I never thought I would. I started a podcast, I love talking, I love helping others it has been my desire since I started online 5 years to be a help to others, to share what I have been through to be able to give happiness and confidence and healing to others…it wasn’t easy and I second guess myself a lot.

I talk all the time about women needing to love themselves but I too have my days that I feel ugly, unloved, fat, unattractive.

Trust me, my confidence in that department is not good…lol…too many surgeries have left me scared and my belly UGLY!Unless I had plastic surgery (NO WAY) to reconstruct my stomach area that area will never be the same.

There are many times I want to hide from my own hubby because I hate my stomach area. I have a scar from my navel to my pelvic area then across my lower pelvic area….it sags…its nasty and to me looks like a mountain range with valleys uggg lol sorry for the picture lol…. I don’t like the way I look in lingerie or normal underwear.

So you see, I know what it is like to not love who I am…I go through this daily. When I was a teenager I was aneroxic and bulmic…though some days I still second guess myself.

I love that lifetime and Carson will be doing a show on this topic, all women need to know they are beautiful! And to start remembering that they are beautiful when they look in the mirror and start to second guess themselves.

I think we all need to unite together and pull together and learn to love ourselves for who we are, even those of us who know we should love ourselves for who we are…we still second guess ourselves.

Carson and Lifetime will do just that hooray!

    Rebecca,

I couldn’t agree with you more…I’ve been watching the commercials for the show and wishing I could meet Carson myself!

I think it is so hard for women…even very beautiful women…to love their bodies. I’m looking forward to seeing the show!

  2. Rebecca!

Thanks for being so very honest about yourself, I can relate in many areas, and so can most woman, or we wouldn’t need wonderful posts like this :-)

  3. I never got back here to post my comments after watching the show.

I love it! I have missed it the last few weeks due to time scheduling in my personal life, but the shows I was able to catch I really felt like Carson loved each of the women for who they were and not how they looked.

I know I heard a lot from others that they couldn’t stand his personality or that he seemed a little fake but watching the women transform on the show from embarrassement of their bodies to absoulute joy when they started gaining their self confidence back was both uplifting and wonderful to see.

So many times we forget that we are all worth something, that we all are here on earth for a purpose…our skin, our hair, our looks are all just the outer “us”. But even remembering that loving who you are both inside and outside can give us the confidence that we need to step out into the world and be the best we can be.

When you hear these models say that they don’t feel beautiful or that they are struggling to lose weight when everyone thinks they are so sexy and thin, you know the problem with women’s self image is really bad. I am a size 14, have a very flabby stomach and it is embarrasing, but my daughter who is very slender feels seh needs lipo suction as the fashions are to expose your stomach, it is very distressing. Between magazines, tv, movies and everything else Carson’s show is a breath of fresh air. When I first heard about it I thought it was a dumb idea. They were just using being naked to lure viewers. Well it is so much more than that and it would be great to “look great nekkid!
