Age-related hype abounds, raking in $billion$ for the cosmetic surgery industry. The scare tactics themselves are enough to accelerate aging. “The Wrinkled Weebis and Other Dead Giveaways,” is a farcical romp into this wacky world, along with some clever, and less costly, alternatives.

Your soul is always communicating with you, in many different ways, but have you really heard the whispers from deep down in your core—your very essence? Most importantly, are you ready to hear your truth? Have you ever wondered why you are here on this earth and what it truly is that you are here to do? Did you ever feel that there was so much more to your life than what it is now? We all need to do a little soul searching every now and then, to remind us of our purpose. You are a creative being, but have you reached your full potential? Has it ever occurred to you that there may be bigger plans for you life’s journey, that maybe deep down, you yourself have known that you are here to do grand things? We live in a busy world—it is so easy to get caught up in the rat race of everyday life that we can’t even hear our inner voice that is desperately trying to speak to us. Where is all the magic? The wonders are profoundly inside of you—in your sacred temple, right here, right now. We tend to look outside for answers and for the approval of others. Take a moment to stop and think. Wouldn’t now be a good time to stop looking elsewhere? Take a good look at yourself in the mirror and look even deeper, going inward. Take a deep breath, acknowledging all that you are. Get ready to dive to the bottom of your existence, your endless ocean, and swim to the depths of your core to find your truth—your authentic self. When you find it, hold on with all of your heart and don’t let go, you have found your secret garden, the landscape of your soul. What you have discovered is the most beautiful bud waiting to blossom and shine your light. It is time to expand your beauty and spread your radiance into the world. How do you create the life you always wanted? Simply by asking yourself what it is that you desire of your life. Be honest with yourself, are you living your true existence? Do you wake up every morning and love what you do? Do you appreciate all that you are? We are all very unique individuals with much to offer. What is unique about you? Do you have any special talents or abilities that have been patiently waiting to sprout? What drives you? One of the keys to understanding your life purpose is to go back to when you were a child. What did you want to be when you grew up and how does it relate to your present life? Even if you think it is not within your reach now, there is a significant connection between your aspirations when you were living in that carefree world and discovering your passion. Another sign to look for is to ask what inspires you, what brings you happiness, what makes your heart sing? How often do you find yourself in a state of joy? I honestly believe that we are all here to experience a blissful life. What steps can you take that will lead you to the life of your dreams? There is so much more to you than you have ever imagined—you are a beautiful creation, here to do great things. Do you know the real you? Not the person you think you are, the passionate you, the person so full of zest that you are exploding to share your song with the world. Just your presence here, at this time can make the world a better place. Are you ready to quiet down all that mind chatter and go within to re-discover yourself? So let me ask you this, If you could hear the whispers of your soul right now, calling to you, what would they be saying? Are you ready to make the changes necessary to fulfill your purpose? What are you waiting for? Seize the moment, activate your destiny and live the life you always dreamed of. Isn’t it about time you Honored and Celebrated You?

I came upon this site this morning while doing some other research for. Can you imagine being able to give someone a wish they desire?  The joy?  The happiness? Not just for them but for yourself as well.

So many times we think we are all alone, no matter your situation in life we are never alone and I commend the creators of Wish Upon A Hero for stepping up and spreading the word about their organization! Everyone has a wish, do you have a wish?  Can you help fulfill someone else’s wish?

This is such a personal road to travel.  You might have been brought up in a traditional religion at a church, synagogue, mosque, or temple with your family.  You might have gone to a Catholic School, or taken Sunday School classes.  This may or not be the way you have followed your spiritual path for the rest of your life.

I was brought up Catholic, and attended Catholic School from 4th to 8th grade.  As a teen, I began attending Assembly of God churches and was enlightened to the spiritual healing and other spiritual gifts offered there.  In college I studied Tibetan Buddhism and found peace and loving kindness in the others that I met through meditation and practice.  I was ordained as a Protestant minister, and worked in an international missions organization.  I became a teacher for the Pranic Healing organization and learned about spiritual practices from around the world, and traditions based on Arhatic Yoga.  I have had quite an eclectic experience!  I have studied many other traditions such as the Kabbalah.

What are you afraid of?  There are some deep-seated fears that we are born with.  Animals with teeth coming at us, falling, being left alone, dying.  These are normal when we are vulnerable, young, sick or in danger.  There is some natural line that we cross when there is no immediate danger, and we become labeled with paranoia, phobias, or aversions.
