Who do you listen to when you just want to quit

Have you ever had those days that you just feel so out of it that no matter what goes on it seems like the end of the world?
I am having one of those days, have been all day long. Normally I can pull myself up, change my outlook and listen to my inner voice that this is just a phase that I am going through today. BUT not today, no matter what I tried it didn’t work
I went outside pulled weeds till my hands and back hurt…ran around the yard trying to scream it out of me, the poor neighbors probably thought I went nuts, I tried taking a hot relaxing bath, I tried to take a nap…nothing! I tried dancing to music to raise my endorphins…everything people tell you to do to make the depression and feeling of worthless go away…
I had times today I just wanted to chuck it all, the long hours, the little money for all the hours, the feeling of what am I doing here on this earth…I had no passion today…good thing I didn’t have a show today it would have been a very poor show.
For those of you who hear me on Heal Yourself Talk Radio, you are probably going YOU depressed you always sound so happy…well its easy to turn on that happiness for an hour but there are days I have to say that I just don’t want to keep going on…I am tired of struggling, tired of working long hours and tired of looking at my life and wondering is there more? So do I sound selfish? Maybe? Discontent? Maybe? Is this a mid life crisis or am I being hit with too many changes that it is too overwhelming…
I have lost many special people in my life the past couple years, two in death and a few in life…the ones who died I can handle as far as the hurting goes, its the ones that are still living that hurts the most.
I am always the one people go to for advice but who should I go to when I need advice? Who do I trust? Should I trust anyone?
Gee it must be the full moon, that has me feeling this way. Like I wrote earlier I can normally pull myself out of this, but for some reason today as the hours pass and the night comes I find myself asking more questions…this life is definetly not what I envisioned 20 years ago as a teenager…but then again there have been huge blessings in my life, my kids for one…that I would never trade for all the money, and tea in China
Have you ever thought about what you used to think about life? Is is what you envisioned as a youth? Are you still the same person you were years ago or have you grown?
Do you still doubt yourself as I do? Then it’s ok you and I are not alone…
I invite you to come over to my special show on Thursday August 28th at 2 pm est our 2 yr anniversary on Heal Yourself Talk Radio to share anything that is bothering you a real heart to heart talk with myself and other listeners…let’s share what is bothering us, share the good times and the bad times…open our hearts to each other and learn from each other, I am not an expert on the human soul…I can use some advice from others as well…
This will be like no other show EVER on HYTR!
A heart to heart between you and me…

From dealing with depression and learning how to take each day as it comes and how each “hardship or trial” is a life lesson we are to learn and how we can learn to help others by sharing what we have learned, we talk about it all.

Overcoming Overwhelm, Procrastination & Fear

Do you suffer from overwhelm, procrastination or fear?
Move from Chaos into Deliberate Action!
Are you feeling frustrated because you’re not where you want to be in life? If you’re nodding you head yes, you’re not alone! Making big, or small, decisions can evoke angst and stress.
No matter if it’s your finances, marketing, relationships; any aspect of your life - you are making important decisions every day that require action.
If overwhelm, procrastination, and fear is holding you back from executing your decisions and intentions, you’re blocking more prosperity, happiness,
and business success than you might realize!
5 Tips from Lorraine
1. Dump multi-tasking. Studies are now showing that multi-tasking has become multi-debilitating and less productive. Put your attention on creating a clear picture in your mind about the key things that must be accomplished and fully focus on doing things one at a time. In that way you maintain the energy and motivation to move forward.
2. Chunk it down. Take small steps to progress even if it seems as if you are moving at a snail’s pace. Breaking down your actions into bite-size pieces will make even the most daunting task seem more manageable.
3. Assign Time increments. You might assign 15-minute time increments to complete certain tasks to keep your momentum going. You might be surprised at how much you can accomplish in a short period of time when you are fully committed to a specific action!
Recognizing your daily progress prevents the regret of, “Where did my day go?” With time at a premium, when beginning your day, use your experience to assess the amount of time needed for each task and commit to the time needed so that you focus on the completion of each project. Schedule specific times during the day to manage tasks that would normally interrupt you such as: emails, phone calls and co-workers. When interruptions are inevitable, set a clear boundary for the amount of time you will allow for the interruption and stick to it.
4. Prioritize. Accept that accomplishing everything on your endless to-do list is impossible. Instead, focus on the main things that must be done for each day and do them. Look for things that have deadlines or time constraints. You might even move forward on one of the pieces you have “chunked down.”
5. Systematize. Schedule blocks of time such as 15-30 minute increments to handle key tasks and responsibilities. Assess current systems and update as needed including automation in your business and personal life. Look for simple ways to be more efficient so that you are working smarter not harder. Maximize your strengths in handling certain tasks to best result.
