I was introduced to this book through a yahoo group and with all the postings about it and the new spiritual path that so many people are looking for I decided this would be a great book to purchase and read more about.
This book is about discovering and recovering your creative self and has been around for 10 years but many people are just now discovering it as we all are starting to awaken to the fact that we are all creative people.
As the earth grows more violent and more terror is around us each and everyday people are searching for ways to escape and to become more creative.
I will be reading and commenting on chapters and what doing the course that is outlined in the book has meant to me and the changes I have seen in the course.
Come back often, feel free to post your comments if you have read the book and done the course.
Description from back of book:
The Artist’s Way is the seminal book on the subject of creativity. An international bestseller, it’s an invaluable guide to living the artist’s life. Perhaps even more vital in today’s cultural climate then when it was first published a decade ago, it is a powerfully provocative and inspiring work.
I look forward to reading and learning more from this book. I used to draw a lot and loved it then for odd reasons really, I stopped drawing…I let others tell me my work was not good, I wasn’t drawing and doodling as some called it for sale or for other’s pleasure I was doing this for my own pleasure. I hope to rediscover this as I start reading and studying Julia Cameron’s book “The Artist’s Way”.
Please join me, post your comments about the book and how this book has helped you.

Thank you Susan I appreciate the thoughts and comments on HYTR’s site. Due to tons of work I have only gotten to the second part of the book and work book but am enjoying going through it slowly as its easier for me to absorb and remember. I would love to hear more of your thoughts as I continue on my own Journey through The Artist’s Way.
