Marilyn Monroe Saved; JFK Plot Foiled
What She Knew Published by Gator Creek Artists Entertainment
Authors K. R. Hughes and T. L. Burns bring history, suspense and a cast of charismatic characters together as Peter Lawford and Bobby Kennedy rescue the very much alive Marilyn Monroe so they can use her knowledge to foil the assassination of JFK.
March 23, 2012 – Powder Springs, GA – Authors K. R. Hughes and T. L.
Burns announced today the release of What She Knew, published by Gator Creek Artists Entertainment, LLC. The authors’ newest fiction is the fast paced tale of a body double used in Marilyn’s place the night of her supposed suicide and the scramble of Peter Lawford and Bobby Kennedy to find out what she really knew about the mob, JFK’s inner political circle and the one evil presence who was bent on having the president moved “out of the way.”
Marilyn Monroe knew about the plot to kill President John F. Kennedy.
She even knew the reason behind it. Although she played a ditzy blonde in the movies, her IQ was reputed to be 168 and she certainly made mental notes of all that was said in her presence during her involvement with the Rat Pack, with JFK, with insider politicians and with the movers and shakers of the Hollywood scene.
She knew, for instance, that under pressure to escalate the Viet Nam conflict into a full blown war, Kennedy baulked and ordered a thousand troops to return home and begin the withdrawal. She knew someone didn’t like that.
The 1962 August day of her apparent “suicide” — made all the more believable by months of intentionally leaked Hollywood rumors about her depression and instability — Bobby Kennedy and Peter Lawford race to her house and find her nearly dead. They quickly replace her with an over-dosed double so they can take her away and find out what she actually knew about her own apparent “suicide” and, more importantly, about the “removal” plans they have heard about for JFK.
What if Marilyn Monroe had actually lived to tell her tales of vital government secrets and of the covert plot to kill the president?
Could she have changed the course of history? Would Peter Lawford and Bobby Kennedy be able to piece together enough information to foil the assassination plot?
Fascinating questions, and What She Knew a fascinating new novel.
